Decent Location, But Could Use Improvement
While the location is great for exploring Bournemouth, the facilities need an upgrade. The breakfast was satisfactory, but the uneven stairs and noisy hallways made for a restless night.

missingWrote a review on Oct 03ideal locationsmall poolfoul odor
The location is ideal, perfectly situated near attractions and the beach. A small swimming pool offers a splash of fun, but be prepared to pay extra for its use.
First impression hits you with a stale odor in the corridors, likely from smoke lingering after parties, and carpets that seem to have seen better days—stains galore. My room had particularly uninviting traits, like a bathroom lacking toilet brushes and towels that left much to be desired in cleanliness. The lift serves only two cramped souls at a time, which could leave you waiting longer than expected, especially during peak hours. The noise from neighboring rooms can easily disrupt your rest, making for an unsettling night.

Very close to the beach and town centre.
The mattress was clearly damaged and very uncomfortable.

This hotel suits me perfectly with excellent Wi-Fi, a cozy bar/lounge area, and a helpful 24-hour reception. I remember how the staff assisted me with money exchange on my first stay. Highly recommend for a city trip!

Had a fantastic time with my group of friends! We visited the beach and the local pier, enjoying both the sun and the fun activities. The atmosphere was lively, and the evening entertainment was a hit! The staff were great, making our stay smooth and enjoyable. Meals were tasty with enough variety, especially at breakfast. Definitely a place to consider for fun group getaways.
The only downside was that the bathroom felt a bit cold during our stay, which could be uncomfortable.

would definitely visit it again
The room was okay with essential amenities like a shower, free toiletries, and a nice TV. The heating worked well and towels were provided. The place was super close to the beach and town center. Plus, the pool area was lovely for a dip after exploring. Really enjoyed the fresh air on the garden terrace!

The check-in process was efficient and the staff demonstrated a proactive approach in assisting with my needs. The room was clean and adequately equipped for my business stay, facilitating my work requirements efficiently. The location is also commendable, providing easy access to local amenities and business centers, enhancing convenience during my trip.
Limited parking availability was a notable issue.

While the staff were lovely and the fresh cream cakes were a highlight, the overall condition of the hotel was deeply disappointing. The toilets were stained and emitted an unpleasant odor, and the bath tub was filthy. Three room changes throughout the stay revealed the same shabby cleanliness issues, making for an uncomfortable experience.

Good 24-hour reception and great bar, but the room cleanliness needs improvement.

I liked the large balcony of room 367, offering decent sea views that added a nice touch to our stay. The overall style of the hotel, while dated, felt nostalgic and had a certain charm that made it enjoyable despite its age.
The noise from the road was quite intrusive, even with the windows closed, which affected our relaxation time. Parking was cramped, making it tricky to find a decent spot. the management's lack of response to our concerns left me feeling unvalued as a guest, which I found frustrating.

Just an ideal choice for an overnight stay in Bournemouth with decent value for money. The bar staff were super friendly and quickly remembered my previous order. Make sure to use the stairs if the lift is busy.
